Pretty good a guitar. Beautiful and great play ability.
Much of your guitar sound depends on the amp(I use a Roland cube-30). It has got inbuilt effects. So, spend most in your amp, because a Gibson Les Paul shall sound crap with a crap amp. I generally play Paul reed smith guitars.
So, lets come to the point, Ibanez are good guitars and I want an Ibanez for metal genres. They are very friendly to distortion and overdrive effects. But, the only problem is they don't suit pop or classic rock genres which are better suited by the fenders (strats, teles, jazzmasters and jaguars).
What ever it is, it suits most rock and metal genres including hardrock and nu metal. If you listen to recent stuff like LP, Limp bizkit, God smack, Rammstein etc then surely go for Ibanez.Joe satriani uses his Ibanez.
So, get to the shop and decide your self which one is made for you.......
